Make Puppets!

Use a stick, or a pencil for a control rod. Make a tab of tape on the end of your stick, then tape the tab towards the middle of the puppet.  The rod should be able to bend away from the puppet on the hinged tab.

Create Your Own Shadow Screen

1) Cut a window in the bottom of a cardboard box  (with help from an adult)
2) Tape white paper or a piece of thin cloth into that window
3) Put a bright light behind the box
4) Place puppets on the screen, in front of the light
5) Play!
Note:  Shadow Puppets work best in a darkened room.
